HI I am going through a crisis here.
I have started to learn Flash and have built a site which is fairly okay, bit of AS and that. But one thing I am is useless at programming. Basically I am a designer who has ideas that I try to implement in the best way using my limited knowledge of Flash. I have got 2 books on AS and find them hard and a little boring to get through.
My question is, do I need to know a lot of Action Script to do Banners, Flash Navs etc properly or is motion tweening etc old hat and bad practice now. What do I need to know to create Flash for say just HTML, CSS based sites like animations and not fully blown Flash sites? I know this is a general question, but I was hoping some experts could guide me in the right direction.
