Hey guys, I need some help here. I can only have ONE book for christmas because of the price (and all the other stuff I have asked for hahahha - I wish I was spoiled sometimes :))
My question is this - if you could only have ONE book what would you pick. I am a web developer by trade and that’s what I will be using it for most often. Building sites with information, forms, pictures and even portfolios. Any help would be great. Thanks alot!

I know man, I did do a search on it - trust me I have done alot of investigation on this. What I am wondering is - what do people think is the single best book for them.
Evey thread I read has like 12 books listed and I am sure all are fantastic - what I want to know is what book has helped you, or someone you know, the most.

Well, this is such a subjective question.
Each person learns differently, and wants different things from their books. The book I choose is going to be totally different from someone else, since I have been in Flash since version 3, and have a lot of “habits” and don’t want to change them (stubborn old man). However, I do need to keep up, and want to learn MX syntax, so I bought a “Friends of Ed” book of AS Reference for designers.
What you are asking is essentially what every one of the threads on books is asking… “I’ve done a lot of research on books, and all it has done is confuse me. Which book is really best?”
I’m not knocking your question in any way, but trying to explain my eagerness to send you to the searches…

You did help and thanks. If you look in my original post you will see that I did mention what I was going to be, and have been, doing in flash and what kind of book I would need.
But again - thank you for your help as in your post you did recomend a book for me to check out.
