Today I bought a new camera! Well sorta. I go into futureshop excited because I planned to buy the Digital Rebel when I come across this

It’s a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-F717. It’s priced at $899 Canadian and I like the camera so I non-chalantly holler over to the sales rep “I’ll give you $1000 tax included for the camera, a 256 memory card, a 3 year unlimited warranty and a carry bag.” :azn: He perks up with a smile and comes over looking at me like I’m crazy and says there’s no way his boss would go for it. :h: So I continue to browse around but I really only want that camera for $1000 with all the extras. After five minutes of checking out the other cameras I return the F717 and tell the sales rep that I want the deal I mentioned earlier and he should go and ask his manager if we can do business. Anyways, the dance continued for a bit and the sales rep (a really nice guy might I add) played go between me and the manager until we reached an agreement. The camera, 256 memory card and the 3 year unlimited warranty for $1100 (tax included). What a great deal I thought.
Well when I go to pay with my debit card the machine coughs a little and says I have insufficent funds. :!: I turn beat red and the sales rep looks at me like he wants an explanation. So I’m standing there in disbelief because I’d just deposited two hefty checks today and there’s more than enough money to cover the cost of the camera. Turns out that this mofo I did some work for who finally paid me 2 months overdue gave me a bad check. Now I’m sitting here pissed off because I can’t play with my new toy. I had to put it on layaway in order to keep the deal and I won’t have the money to go get it until friday.
