Actually it’s Mount Sentinel, and some ■■■■ kids started a huge fire on it.
That’s one thing I don’t miss about living in Idaho. Mountains constantly being on fire.

haha i used to live in idaho, it was pretty scary on 4th of july with the loads of dry grass around. I lived in lewiston by the way
control burn, they always say they will do it, but just never get round to it
mountains used to burn a lot in croatia during the summer, while we were allowed to go down there on holidays… between burning and non-burning mountains, I have to say I vote for burning. it was always such a wicked feeling, watching the red glow night after night, the contrast between the rolling sea and swaying cypresses on the one side, and orange smouldering mountains on the other… also that slight fear that the fire might spread and we might actually have to evacuate seemed to put such a feel of adventure in the air. (hey I was only 10…)
Mountains are stupid. I’m glad they are spontaneously combusting.

I’d much rather be near a burning mountain than a burning swamp. Idaho might look like Mordor, but Virginia Beach ■■■■ sure smells like it lately.
