I don’t use 3dmax, but there’s gotta be a feature that allows you to reset the interface like in C4D. Don’t reinstall just yet, hang in there.

hey sorry mdipi…I was lounging in actionscript cause i needed help. BUt go to Customize>>>User Interface…You should know what to do from there.
Actually one of the choices is revert to start up layout or something like that…that is the one you should use. I am not in front of max right now but it is in the customize menu bar
try customise > load custom ui > DefaultUI.CUI
try pressing “Y” and then “Y” again…

that magic book is great I have it too. Some really good examples in it.
well havent used it yet, just thumbed through it. but from what i see…WOW! the first of 13 tuts is making realistic impact! i am booting up MAX now i will post it when done!
