I’m just posting this in case I get lucky and somebody knows what the problem could possibly be.
I’ve got multiple dynamic flash widgets on a html page. Things like xml-driven menus, headers and stuff.
And all of them together seems to cause IE to crash sometimes.
They all work individually but together on one page is problematic.
It doesn’t crash right away. You have to browse around a bit or let it sit on the page for a while and then start browsing again, which causes an immediate crash.
IE displays an error dialog saying that flash8a.ocx ‘was running when this problem occured’.
Only one of the flash movies have been done by me so I’m not sure about what kind of code one might find in the other .flas yet but I have a feeling that this is not simply bad coding.
So perhaps someone is familiar with this anomaly?
PS! They all work fine individually, at least that’s what I’ve been told.
