Well one evening im working on some stuff and blam … out goes my pc, a complete shut down!!.
So i thought well its the power suply thats maybe failing, so i tested it on another pc and it ran, **** it was the motherboard or the cpu.
So i ran to the store bought myself a new p4 2,8 FSB800 with 1mb cach processor and an asus p4c800 deluxe motherboard, and while i was at it i also bought a new HardDrive ( a sata) and some memeory and a video cart. ( **** that cost me much too much )
I come home, i hookup the cpu to the motherboard and place everything where it should be.
Well the pc starts ok that went fine, i install xp again and it runs.
Now start all the troubles, and its really driving me mad.
I hookup my other normal IDE hard disk (with all my stuff on it) to run besides the main new sata disk, but now my computer starts to run in a contineous loop and keeps asking if i want to run windows in normal mode or safe mode and when i choose it resets all the time. 
After testing and testing and testing i cant get a normal hard drive to run besides the sata harddrive and i cant get to my other HD ( containing my work) because when i attach thatone i get a XP activation error .( i really wanna shoot windows)
The bios recognises all harddrives but i cant get into windows any more if i hookup the normal HD.
On top of that i cant seem to connect my computer in my network anymore, but that can be a failing cable. ( but hell its annoying as it can be)
Man nothing seems to work around here , freaking madning, anybody hearded of troubles with a sata hard drive like this? awefull stuff, especially when ya just want to enjoy your new thingies
