I'm making a Desktop Flash!

Well, me being an interesting guy and having taken an 8 month break from my world of Macromedia. I decided to pull a very perplexing project out of my *** :jailbreak.

I want my desktop interactive, sure there are programs that you can spend anywhere from 50 to a few hundred bucks that will do that for you. But I’m not even a high school grad. yet and I’m saving money for when I leave for college, so screw that expense!:scream: I want to make it my own.

So here is my confusion:
I’m trying to figure out how to use a button to turn on a program it is designated to. (I’m tired of having all those shortcuts I want to minimize the use of those.) I found a cheating way of opening Firefox and that was simply making the button a hyperlink.** So how the heck would I make a flash button open up a computer program?**

For those skeptics who think I’m trying to spam and think it’s impossible to have a flash file as your desktop I have this to say:
You are allowed Image files and HTML files as your background. Therefore, just have a .fla imbedded into an HTML file and voilà you have a FLASH desktop!
