Hi,
I just saw something incredibly cool on the product page for Adobe.com, under the title “Digital Imaging”.
http://www.adobe.com/digitalimag/main.html
How do you fade in an image like that? When I fade an image in, the whole image fades in together solidly, without the “blurred” effect. Does anyone know how to create that blurred fade-in effect in Flash?
Also, I’ve seen this alot on TV commercials. One visual image is replaced by another image that “mask” tweens horizontally over the original. I tried this in Flash and it is HARD to do. The only alternative I could do is to save the first image as a Graphic, and then motion tween off the screen to the right. Immediately as the first Graphic slides horizontally to the right, the user can see the second Graphic on a motion tween that slides horizontally on to the stage, in the same spot where Graphic one used to be.
Hopefully with this mask tween I won’t have to do any motion tween on graphics at all.
Thanks
