In trouble due to size

hi… I’ve just discovered how SLOW my movie is at a particular frame. On that frame I’m loading a movieclip that has 4 graphics each one about 3 seconds duration, and fading out where next begins. I just recently found out about the bandwidth profiler. Up till then I thought everything was great (my own machine, of course), but now I see that at 56K it’s coming to a halt.

Is there some way short of removing the whole plan to help this move along? When it hits the movie clip frame I think it’s waiting for all the pictures to load. Could it somehow be different? with the bandwidth profiler set to 56k it’s taking nearly a minute.

Hey!

You could always make yourself a nice preloader. And what I do is if I’m importing JPGs or whatever into Flash…I usually NEVER compress them when I import them like from Photoshop. I let Flash compress them. It’s better on the image quality and the movie size…also, run your movie at 12 fps. Other than that…I can’t think of anything else.

Hope this helped!
