Infinite menu and masking

hey all!

I am trying really hard to learn this program.
anyway…1. where do i have to put that black masked rectangle so the infinite menu would show masked?and the background would show also.

2.what is wrong with my infinite menu it seems to work okey, but its looking the wrong way and in a weird way…:q: what am i doing wrong?
