Intel Macs May Now Be able to Run Windows Natively

A video, published online by Narf (the individual who we previously reported may have succeeded at installing WinXP on an Intel iMac), shows an iMac booting into various stages of the WindowsXP installation and directly to the desktop. The video is somewhat edited in that you don’t have to sit through the entire 30 minutes Windows XP install, but it does seem to show the machine going directly from boot to various points in the Windows XP installation process and finally directly to the desktop…

While this still could be some form of video trickeration, I, personally, would highly doubt it. The video quality is pretty horrible, but the video of the machine going directly from off to boot to Windows XP (near the end) is pretty convincing. The solution is said to have been submitted to the Windows XP on Mac site for review at the same time that that the video was originally posted about 7 hours ago, so we will be waiting with bated breath to see what the official outcome is. The video is currently being torrented here, so go check it out for yourself and check back in in the comments.

theres a torrent link to the video at the bottom of the article
