I’m trying to create a trozei-type game and need an experienced AS3 programmer. In the game, there will be an 8x8 set of tiles. Each tile will be occupied by an object, say for instance, a circle. There are 5 different types of circles, each with a different color and design on them. The player uses the mouse to click and drag one of the circles either horizontally or vertically. If he drags the circle horizontally, all the circles in that horizontal line move with it. One one of them makes it past the set of tiles, it jumps back to the other end. The same with the vertical direction, only all the circles in the vertical line move with the circle that has been clicked. When four of the same circle are lined up, they disappear and the player gets points. Then , naturally, all circles above that line the circles that disappeared fall down. If another combo of two or more of the same circle is executed, they disappear as well. This chain reaction can keep going on until there are no more combos available, or the player doesn’t move fast enough to get them. Naturally, more and more circles keep falling. Game play continues until they pile up and 5 seconds has past since the entire screen has been filled with circles.
That’s basically the entire game. If you would like more information or to see a rough-sketch of the sprites, contact me at [email protected]. I would also like to ad an online high score table. But I’ll also need to find someone who knows that kind of stuff.
Of course, there is a plan for this game. There are plenty of sites out there that sponsor Flash games, such as Crazy Monkey Games. When we finally complete the game, all we need to do is put an advertisement somewhere in the game for the site, and if that site likes it, they not only post it on there site, but they will pay us a generous amount for the advertisement. If we get s sponsorship from this game, all members of the project that participated will split the final sum of cash.
If you are good with 2d graphics, we could use your help as well.
Cheers,
