So when apple released the 3G everybody was really angry because they had just spent so much on the old iphone. Though still alot of people will probably buy the 3g because of its extra features right. So in order to justify them buying their new one, they will sell there old one. Creating an influx of iphones, and giving itself hype by the sheer fact that there are more people with them
