Iranium

Seems that Iran is refusing demands of the IAEA to halt all uranium enrichment activites, as well as refusing to allow snap inspections:

It’s hard for me take a stance on this issue. On one hand we know that this area of the world is currently the source of many terrorists, yet at the same time, how can we pick and choose countries that get to enrich uranium, it hardly seems fair. Enriched uranium can of course be used for power generation…

Do we trust Iran as we would trust a “friendly” Western nation or, or do we enter into a stand off that could lead to another war?

I don’t think that Iran is messing with uranium to harm innocent people, i think its just for self defense, Israel seems to want Iran…

I have no problem with any country developing nuclear power, but if the UN wants to send UN personnel to checkup on what’s going on, and Iran refuses, it shows to me that they may have something to hide :inc:

might be something like that :kommie:

Last thing I heard Iran didn’t have the proper technological equipment to enrich the uranium… whereas country such as North Korea had…

FLASHBACK: WHEN SHARON SAYS JUMP… BUSH SAYS HOW HIGH?
There are a few article about Iran on the link above. I thought it would shed some light on this issue. Iran is yet to have it’s first nuclear power plant.
As a side by side comparison, read the statistics here and compare it with what the media portrays.

Iran is going to have nuclear power, and if it could bring a change into the shifts of powers around the world, then, so be it. I understand why some would worry, but I find it normal for any country to “get on top” of things.
