If so I feal so sorry for them I am hearing about this Frances storm and I heard it was headed in Florida’s Direction.
Well I don’t know if it is or not and I do feel sorry for people that are affected by it… but you shouldn’t be worrying about that too much, you should be concerend about the next big earthquake to hit So. Cal.
Weather is bad everywhere Here in cali its like 80-90 degrees
I live in Orlando Florida…the EYE of hurricane charley went Directly over my house with winds up to 105 mph…got some roof damage but my house was in a good position…the nieghbors blocked us lol…of course they lost all the windows…and the whole screen to there pool. the screen door was in our yard
but ya if francis does hit orlando we are going to have some major problems…as if we didn’t arleady >_<
Wow, it’s like 82 and sunny here in Portland. Puuuuuuuuuuuuuurfect! :thumb:
My weather report: 101 F.
I don’t really worry about the weather here… it’s not like we’re going to get a hurricane or a tornado.
last i heard its supposed to hit right at the joint of florida and georgia…jacksonville pretty much.
yeah and for the next 9 months it will be cold and gray.
So is this hurricane as strong or weaker than Charlie?
right now its a lil weaker …but its got plenty of time to strengthen…I can already see another week out of school…sounds good…but its not.
lol
Yah the only tornados we have here are very very small in cali and we barely get them well really never we only got one last year or the year b4 but they were only in l.a. and very small that they only lasted 5mins and did very little damage
Also the rumour about earthquakes HAHAHA we only get them like every 4 years if we do get them in between they r very small also They r predicting a big earthquake in october november sometime then 7.0-10.0.
I know i mitre be boring u but weather interested me ever since i saw the day after tommorow lol
You know, there are a bunch of small earthquakes every week… but of course, they’re too small to be noticed.
There’s always earthquakes going on!
:sigh:
Enough with me spamming… when is this hurricane supposed to hit land?
I work at cape canaveral and the weather station (the NASA/Military one) is predicting landfall between cape canaveral and daytona, sometime around 4am sat. I tend to trust them a bit more than the regular weather guys you see on the news as they dont have to work with the political side of the weather. The news actually has a limit to how often they are allowed to change the path and intensity forecasts, so that they dont confuse people. Anyway should make for an exciting weekend here in sunny florida aka the hurricaine target…
Well at least it won’t be raining pollution like in L.A. Oh wait, but a quarter inch of rain would completely shut down the city and “STORM WATCH 2004!!!” would be on all the networks for 72 hours.
Kind of like a half inch of snow here . . . :sure:
So true… I love it when it rains, Winter is my favorite part of the year.
I was there on holiday
I was staying at the Marriott Residence Inn on International Drive… we had no power/AC for two days… it was pretty bad - but at least it made the holiday “interesting”
lol i use to work on I drive…did ya drive past the water park called wet n wild?
hopefully you didn’t waste your money to get sunburned and wait in long lines :-p
