Ok I’m planning to upgrade my computer by the end of august, and so have been looking out for deals and such.
I’ve noticed that over the pass few days newegg has been having 7900gt cards come with $30-35 rebates or otherwise are on sale (and good manufacturers too - BFG, XFX, EVGA)
Currently the EVGA 7900gt is going for $239.99 after rebate, and I’m very tempted to get it.
However here’s my question: is there some new thing coming out that’s going to phase out the 7900? This is what I’m worried about since newegg has been having these great deals.
Personally I think it should be quite worth getting the card, as whatever new is coming out is probably going to be out of my budget, plus I should be able to resell it for a reasonable portion of what I paid (since I’m getting it at a “discounted” price)
