Not sure if this is the best place to post this question, sorry if its off topic.
I have been asked what would be needed to make a couple simple games to help children with spelling, which could be embedded into a web page. I am just starting out with Flash so I am thinking a flash based approch would do the job, but then I seem to remember that java applets can be embeded into HTML pages. But I am not sure what can be done with java applets. Can anybody enlighten me to what the pros and cons are between flash and java applets.
