I thought J++ was Microsoft’s IDE(integrated development enviroment) for Java, like Visual C++ is to C++.

no i think it is MS’s Java if i remeber correctly, a while back i was into C# (never went anywere, hard to learn) and had to learn all the diffs. but i do think that its just a flavor of Java
Yikes, I’m taking a Java course in school in the fall and my dad has some J++ books, so I was thinking if those books might help at all.
it is most likely the same syntax, so it might help to familurize (sp?) your self with it. worst thing is that you get a new lang. under you belt.
