I haven’t seen the show.

But the copy of it here in Australia, you dont get to far and then the questions are imposible.

I mean he has answered 1000 questions… I bet anyone on this site could make up a question in a second that he wouldn’t be able to answer.

So your telling in 1000 questions the show couldn’t stump him ???

I just don’t see it…

Eh… in America/Canada they’re not too bad. My sister and I are 17 and 19 respectively, and we constantly go entire shows knowing all the answers (questions in this case?). The clues are worded in such a way that even if you wouldn’t have known the answer, there’s a little hint that gives it away. And Teen Jeopardy… I don’t know how that got on the air. :stuck_out_tongue:

Although Quiz Shows are pretty easy over here as well.

Here in Australia the first few questions are 2nd grade type… but after a few when the questions are worth 32,000 64,000 they become stupid…

I mean “What was the wife’s name of the second King of Englands name ?” They just become hell stupid…

Well my sister’s in a gifted program at school, and I dropped out of the gifted program to go to a certain high school that wasn’t offering it, so that may be a factor. :stuck_out_tongue: But really, about half of the categories are dead easy. The rest require some paying attention in class and knowledge of the arts. If you’re ever watching American Jeopardy, and the Chemistry category shows up, the clues are like “F” and the answer is fluorine. The hardest question in the category is maybe “Cs” and the answer is cesium. All you have to do is know Gr.11 Science there. The Stupid Questions category is priceless.

He works for a company that makes trivia books for kids - I should hope the man knows his stuff -

I don’t know seems impossible - perhaps a ploy to get us interested in Jeopardy again…

Well if thats the type of questions they are asking then I guess anyone that finished high school should be able to get a million.

Here the first few are dead easy…
Then they get harder, but with a little thinking you can make a educated guess.
And with your phone a friend and audience poll you can narrow it down to 50/50.

Then they are just off the wall…
I have seen them ask questions that I couldn’t find a google answer to with 5 min of searching…

The off-the-wall questions here are Final Jeopardy. :stuck_out_tongue: I’ve only gotten maybe 2 or 3 in my entire history of watching (since before 4th grade).

I don’t think he cheats. He almost got to a point in yesterday’s game where the 2nd place contestant could catch up to him by doubling her amount. If it wasn’t for his final answer in the 2000 category, he could have lost. He lost the final jeopardy question - then again, so did his competitors :slight_smile:

yesterday he got the final jeopardy answer. The only part of the show I watched though, just to see if he finally lost.

I’m still convinced he cheats :x

Wasn’t yesterday the one about the NYTimes and the 96 point font size? I thought all three contestants missed that. Ken put 1996 and 2001, while the answer was something about years of the moon landing and Nixon resignation.

NO, last night he did have to get the last $2000 question so the others couldn’t catch him. I think your just having a brain fart there Kman… “Theo” is right, it wasnt the font size question :slight_smile:
