What is up with this guy?
He has to be the most opinionated, closed minded, asscrack that has ever defouled our good forum.
Sure, he is a good designer in Photoshop.
Other than that, he is an arrogant 19 yr old, who thinks he knows the entire volume on design, and will not be told he is wrong, ever.
I’m sorry, I know I go off on age too much, but how can anyone who has only been on this planet for 19 years have formed such opinions? There is no way, ever, that someone who has only been able to be working for 5 years, maybe 7 (and most of those could only be part time), could have the experience to spout off like he does. There is just no way to get that much life experience in that short amount of time. I know that different people experience different things in different speeds, however, he has only been old enough to vote for 1 year. He hasn’t even been able to go into a nightclub legally. He hasn’t been screwed by his boss yet. He hasn’t been screwed by his ex-wife yet.
I was the same when I was 19, I thought I had experienced it all. Stupid me. At least I didn’t go tell the world how stubborn and narrow minded I was…
I’m not saying that a young person has no valued life experiences, not by a long shot. I am saying that the average male thinks he is invincible, up until about the age of 30. Then mortality sets in. You don’t recover nearly as quickly from the night before… You pull a muscle doing something quite ordinary… But until then, we pretty much all have the Fester disease, where you can drink all night, work all day, and not feel the worse for any of it. That changes one day.
It’s usually about this point, when we, as males, realize we are mortal, and that maybe we don’t know everything there is to know about everything. This is usually brought on by some 19yr old doing the job you used to do, twice as fast, and for 2/3 the pay as you…
No matter how good you think you are, just around the corner is some new guy, just waiting to cut you off at the knees. The worst part, is that you know you will never be that quick again… So you make up for it by opening your mind, learning new ways of thinking, so that you don’t have to work so hard, you become more efficient, naturally.
I know this is too long, but I wanted to explain why this guy gets to me so much…
