If i go intp my publish settings and drop my flash export settings and drop the quality of my jpg’s form 80 to 50 I should see a reduction in quality and file size of the final swf but htis dones’t seem to work.
It is forcing me to chage the properties of each individual picture in the library and rudce it there.
Why wont my publish settings affect my jpgs and save me some time?
I was having the same trouble with greyscale images - no matter what I changed in the publish settings, (even bringing it in at 90% quality) to both my main swf and my external MC’s, it had no difference on the quality??? although the HTML doc was fine, the swf uploaded onto the server was not? but all the colour images are perfect, all on the same settings as the greyscale…hmm

try to “update” your pics - worked for me…
