We are looking for a Jr. Programmer- someone who can create ultra lean, ultra mean code. The type of person who knows traditional coding and has experience integrating PHP/ASP with Flash. Primary languages include PHP, ASP, SQL, MySQL, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Coldfusion. Knowledge in MS SQL Server and mySQL databases is a major plus. ActionScripting would be a plus although we are willing to mentor the right candidate. Someone who understands that complex sites should be efficient and easy to update.
Contract with possible F/T in the future - esp. if you fit in and show us how awesome you are.This position starts ASAP and is IN HOUSE ONLY! We really need your butt in one of our chairs. Hours are appx. 10-7 (flexible) Mon-Fri. (We don’t like to work weekends or work late either.)
You will take Flash and design elements in various forms - You will streamline designers’ code. You will animate things using code whenever possible. You will find ways for each project to reduce file size and load times. You will integrate Flash components with ASP, PHP, and other technologies. You will meet deadlines. You will play well with others. And best of all, you will hopefully have some fun, especially if you’re truly into this lifestyle.
