Hey GBD, i thought id give you something a little more constructive to work from.
- I hate red. This is a personal thing, but i thought i’d mention it.
- Navigation is very simple… nothing wrong with that as long as you can pull it off. So, i think you’d need some very funky transitions between each section if you ever want this site to be above average.
- I do kinda like the faces… assuming they are of you. otherwise its just silly.
- I like the way u have used simple black lines to seperate stuff. Looks very cool.
- The images overlap the lines that hold the menu and buttons. Looks a bit silly. Id either cut the images off at the edges of the lines, or have it overlap but faded down inside the black lines so that the text is alwways readable.
Overall, great start. Keep fiddlin with it.
Well, the way the lines end make the site seem like it just stops. You may want to frame it a bit more. And it seems to align itself with the bottom right and not the centre of the window. And for some reason I need to click the “bilden” link twice before the hand appears. It seems a bit sparse, but the clean look is always easier to navigate. But it’s looking promising!
Its good start, I like the nav, because its different then most of the navs I see around here…about me picture should be a bit smaller so it doesnt overlap with nav…same with project picture…bilder I have to click two times to get the hand…which I think it looks cool…just smaller a bit maybe 80%, contact page should have a different pic…something else then a hand////maybe a spider, I would add a stroke around this project 1pt dark gray, and I would make those pictures fade in / out…good start…where is ur logo?

- these are all pics of me and only because i had the
first pic (from ‘about me’) i designed the page like
it is now. i think a page about a person should have
something to do with his designer.
- about the images which overlap the lines: ive tested
it with them ending at the lines: i didn’t like it.
it looked like all the other pages.
i’ve placed the images so that they don’t disturb you.
you know what i mean ?! if you click at 'about me’
the image overlap a little the link 'about me’
but you dont need him anymore.

that’s also a problem: if you press a link a second time you see the next image. don’t know why…
a question @ mr.mass: plz tell me how to creat such a great rotation effect like in your page at the beginning, the III . which program is the best for such things?!

U do your outline in illustrator…then save a eps as a version 7 on ur desktop…then open Swift 3d…apply rotation to ur outline that u previosly have to import as a eps from desktop…=RENDER 
Open rendered animation in flash, delete every second frame, loose the spaces in between =makes it faster

well if rendered small comes up to 60 - 100k but then again deleting those every second frame will make it smaller…

you create a pic with which program? photoshop? fireworks?
is illustrator an extra program?! never heard of that…

yeah you’ve definatley got an original nav bar, I’d get rid of the red colour though! The font kinda sucks, the images are good though (they look good in red - hypocrite!). Obviously you need to add some content to make the site much better.
Re - submit when you’ve made the changes you fell you need to.

tell u what man send me the file or the part u want to animate…I will redraw it in illustrator = vector based application like flash…and I will send u the file ready to be imported for swift…hows that?
I spose i can learn to live with red…
I use flash to create my eps files if thats any help.
About the problem that brings up the wrong images when you keep clicking, i used to get that. i’d use a movie clip full of images and stop actions, and use tell target to get to each image. On release, tell target ‘images(or whatever)’ go to and play ‘4’. If u know what i mean. That caused the problem. if you use go to and stop instead, it wont happen. But dont hold me to it.
