Kirupa Cribs - Home Entertainment Edition!

Hello all! Here’s your chance to show off (or complain) about the home theatre / entertainment set up you have at home or wherever you are living at the moment :slight_smile: I got this idea from past Kirupa Crib episodes and the fact that I just cleaned up my living quarters enough in the igloo to actually want to show someone!

The top 2 shelves on either side of my television are empty as you can see, I just need to find something else to put up there… any suggestions?

ok heres mine, nothing crazy but it gets the job done.

  • 36" Flat Screen Samsung with Component Input, S-Video, PIP and a ton of other goodies.

  • Mp3/DVD/CD Reciever w/ Surround Sound (theres 6 speakers, 2 in the back behind the couch)

  • Forgot what the sub output is but its nothing major. Going to upgrade the sub after I stick 2gb of RAM into my Powerbook.

  • Xbox hooked up via Component video w/ Surround sound.

That’s a nice tv jnicklo! I wish I had flat screen. Your set up looks very clean

I think the next tv I buy won’t be a tv at all, but a projecter :slight_smile:

definitely get a projector if you can…4 people + video games + big *** screen = fun

here’s mine. Luckily I have enough room to do a dedicated space. Need to upgrade the projector, but the rest is pretty solid. Sure makes “movie night” a heck of a lot more fun. I don’t go to the theater very often anymore.

i dont have much except 43 inch rear projection hd tv (i think), dvd player and a sattelite reciever.

bah! lol…I saw this thread at work earlier and meant to yoink the camera from work…arghhhhhh…

I was running late to meet my buddy at the gym and forgot.
