I wasn’t sure whether to post this in the Design section but that seemed to be more image related. I’ve been thinking about posting this for a while but for some reason I haven’t.

I’ve always wanted to know what makes up a site such as the site of the week. Is it just a bunch of movieclips with different animations in each clip or (I really doubt this) is it just all rolled into one with no clips?

What you’re asking is really how these people have made complete Flash sites, right?

There’s a brief tutorial on how to do this - http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx/full_site.asp - but I think people tend to do it in different ways. Some make a lot of separate movie clips and load them in as needed, other make one big movie…

It probably depends on exactly what you want from your site and how big it’s going to be.
