Would it be possible to have the “Last edited on [time] by [username]” notice at the bottom of the posts when you have edited something turned off for the mods ? It was like that on vb2, and I kinda liked that.
Another thing - while I was browsing the new posts (about the only way I browse the forum), I sometimes come along threads where users have attached a file and need someone to look at it. I mostly do so, and start working on their file. When I’m done, I post the fixed file etc, but by that time my new posts aren’t new anymore because I have been inactive for the time I was editing that FLA. In vb2 I could just hit back on my browser window to get back to the list, but in vb3 it now displays “No search results” instead of the history list. Somehow logical because there are indeed no new posts (they have been reset for being inactive), but that also means that all my new posts are now gone. Is there any way to solve this ?

The edited message is disabled for the mods, so do you want me to enable that for us? Or are you saying that the edited message does not appear for anyone?
About View New Posts, is there a setting in your User CP where you can specify the time before a new post becomes “old”? If not, I’ll try to find a hack that increases the time between a new post and old post.
Wait, are you saying that it already was disabled for the mods ? That’s weird … how come it does show for me then ? I’ll try it again on my first post. The way it was before is that it was disabled for the mods but enabled for regular users, I’d like to get that situation back

About View New Posts - I don’t think the user can set that. I know that in vb2 the administrator can though. By default it’s 15 minutes I think … I’m not sure. Actually, the users should be able to set that … because after all they are the ones who get the cookies. Could you browse through your admin panel to see if it’s also there in vb3 ? I’ll have a look at the User CP as well to see if it’s there.
Voets - I don’t see an edited by text for you in your post. Maybe only you can see the edited by time, but others can’t?
EDIT: Nevermind - I do see it I’ll fix it shortly. I’ll also increase the time in the Admin Panel for the new/old post transition to about 30 mins. Or should I use another number instead?
