My laptop’s been playing up recently. It’s a 1-year-old (just past warranty period:() LG laptop running XP Home.
As an example, I was browsing the web the other day, and Firefox was just freezing more frequently and for longer periods than usual. I leave it for a while, come back, and it crawls to a halt.
It happens really randomly… and not just with Firefox - with anything. Sometimes it’s fine, sometimes the HD will work like crazy, sometimes I’ll get an ‘access to the specified device/file was denied’ error whenever I try to open any program, and I’ve got the BSOD memory-dump screen quite a few times.
