Laptop Printing in a Random Public Access Lab

A few random questions:

How difficult is it for a person to print from their laptop in a public access computer lab?

What do people with laptops typically need in order to print from their laptops in a computer lab?

What is the best network/lab configuration to accomodate for people with laptops?

Obviously I don’t own a laptop - I am, however, in charge of putting together a computer lab and I really want to cover all my bases. I really wish I had more laptop experience. Thanks for any replies.

I’ve never printed to a open printer before… but like all wireless printers one just start>control panel>printers>add wireless printer select it from the list and then it will remember it. like a 20second thing.

They will need wi-fi or a wi-fi card or bluetooth.

Never setup anything other than a printer with built in wi-fi and it was pre-configured.
