Once again it is snowing here in Michigan. Just when the snow finally melts we get another good sized snow storm. On my way to work today I almost got stuck a few times on the back roads that are NEVER cleared (stupid county) but I managed to get there and back without much trouble. Then I get home and (this is where you laugh with me cos I found it funny as well) get stuck in my driveway! You see, there’s a field behind my house which allows the wind to pick up some good speed and cause drifts in my yard. Also, there’s a ninety-degree turn in my drive which means I lose any momentum my car has going through the snow so I came to a complete stop and got stuck!
This is where you laugh at me:
I spend the next 30 minutes or so shoveling the snow from the garage to my car, get in my car and go nowhere. Why? Because there is ice below the snow!!! So now my car is stuck and I can’t go forward or backward.
Oh well, not that big a deal but just a bit on the frustrating side.
Here’s a couple of pics. It’s hard to tell but the snow is up to about 7 inches in some areas of the drive.
