Hi:
I have to buy a new monitor and as you can expect I have to buy a flat screen lcd. I noticed those monitors distort the images on the screen, and being a designer I cannot conceive how could a monitor distort an image so bad. It’s like they stretch the image horizontally. A relative of mine bought one the other day and my website logo (www.carloslugo.com) looked like an oval, instead of a circle! I have a 17’’ CRT at 1024 x 768 res. Is there a specific resolution I should look for in a lcd so it doesn’t distort the screen? Is 1024 x 768 still the default resolution for web design? The common res I have seen is 1280 x 1024.
Thanks in advance.
