Legal question

i don’t know why it would be, but i figured i should check.

is it illegall to have a button on your page that opens your page 30,000 times when you click it?

not to sure about the legality of it in terms of laws, but generally most ISP’s have a section about this sort of thing in their Acceptable Use policies that forbid it, and so if they had a problem with it, could remove the content or u could violate the hosting agreement…
Why would you ever want to do that anyway? Sounds like u need to update your netiquette knowledge, lolz…

I’m guessing he is referring to his incident (http://www.kirupaforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=68017)

i am trying to make an annoying web page.

turns out, using window.open 30,000 times doesn’t even work. it only opened about 30 for me.

You will most likely to be contacted with explicit language. In this case, its more annoying than people who have website in [js] pop-up windows. One suggestion: Dont do it.
