I’ve taken the Flash MX tutorial on legible text, but it didn’t work out for me… If have this question: if you use dynamic text instead of static text, doesn’t it require the people who view your site to have the font you made the dynamic text with? I have some dynamic text on my site, and when my friends go to it, it’s displayed in Times New Roman instead of the font on my pc (coz they don’t have that font). And I’m gettin’ more and more depressed when I see all those nice portfolio and design sitez all over the net who have gorgious small fonts and very legible text… :*( Please help me (by posting a link to a tutorial or commenting my thread…) [/COLOR]
You must embed the font. In the proporties box, next to ‘var’, hit character. This will give you your embed options. Embed all.
Also, those other tiny fonts are probably pixel fonts. Check it out at:

better yet, go against the trend and make your text large enough for people over the age of 25 to read it…
It is, afterall, just a fad that will pass… (how many large sites that get millions of hits/day use small fonts?)
