Im pretty sure they were paid to do that, either by lego or spiderman or both (or they might have taken the initiative to make it first and then approach them for funding/distribution).

I thought the most funny part was when he was walking up the walls with just his feet.
Or when he had the roof tiles and was swinging them like a mad man, and then it turns around and you just see him wave at him… lol

That was great! I think the same people did the lego animation on the Monty Python and the Holy Grail Special Edition DVD where they remade the Camalot scene.
