Just got Lightwave and I think I need a degree in rocket science or quantum physics to figure out the menu options…
Here is my first render, I know it’s crap…but it’s not an easy program to use, got to get used to the layout…Anyone else uses Lightwave, knows good rookie tutorial sites?
Oh yeah I would not go to SimplyLightwave. The people there are not very cool. And their tutorials are highly overpriced considering the alternatives. www.3dgarage.com has some nice dvd’s www.splinegod.com larry schultz has some good stuff there as well. Oh and how could I forget www.3dbuzz.com free videos there.

and as DDD said “dont get discouraged” at the begining all seems very confuse, but with time you be able to do some nice stuff.
