hey there… i was wondering about this tutorial.
What are the benefits over using the trace bitmap feature? optimizing your graphics? would that be it?

trace bitmap is not going to give you the same look.
trace bitmap will work…i just don’t prefer that look
gotcha… it’s a preference thing. I’m just starting to work with scanned images, so i’ll make sure to try both.

Well also… Trace Bitmap when used in high detail to get a cleaner look becomes more CPU intensive because it breaks it up into more pieces than it really should be. This increases both file size and CPU usage if this image is going to be animated or anything like that. Basically… the Trace Bitmap feature is the evil and line art is good
