Hey Linux users, I noticed that some of you are quite good with Linux- Ubuntu and have been using it for quite sometime now. Just wanted to ask a big favor if you guys can share some experiences with us linux newbies.
Probably the biggest question that pops up for someone who just installed Linux- is ‘now what?’ what do I do with it. so this is what popped in my head after installing Ubuntu today. So I’d like for you ppl to share some good programs that are available for Ubuntu. I found a site that has a huge list but the problem I experienced is that - which one should I install, For example there were like 8 alternative to iTunes music players from 8 different vendors, instead of installing all of them I’d like for you people to share what’s a good program to run for music , photos, etc. what I mean by good-that has a nice interface, great features pretty much 5 star programs.
I start seeing that more and more linux threads pop up almost everyday. and today I became Ubuntu ‘victim’ too .:trout:
