Loading a movie clip inside of a movie clip?

I have a movie clip on my stage, and when you click a button I want to load a movie clip inside of that one from my libary. I know this is a stupid question, but right now mind mind is boggled.

you need to use the attachMovieClip command. I can’t remember what the syntax is off the top of my head, but it’s basically

attachMovieClip(’<name of clip>’, <new name for clip>, <depth to attach clip>);
