Loading an swf into an swf into an swf....-_-

Hey…

I have a Flash web site that I making at the moment…and I have another question…

The main page is called Main…and I have about 5 buttons each loading their own swf into an area underneath them. I am using the “Preloader & Transitions for Dynamic Files” tutorial. When I click, say, the Downloads button, it all loads fine. But then here’s the hard part…In the Downloads swf, I have the same concept I’m using in the main page. The Preloader and Transitions and such. The Downloads swf has its own set of buttons too. When I click, say, the Photos button, it plays the transition half way for some reason. Then it displays the swf to be loaded into it, the Photos swf. But when I try to click anything else, nothing works…I know it does work because I previewed the Photos swf on its own and it works fine…What should I DO!!! :puzzle: :puzzle:

HEEEEEELLPP!!! :cyclops:

That works fine when I preview it in Flash…But when I upload it to the site and try it on the site, it does exactly the same thing…

AAGGGHH!!! This is sooooooooooooooooo frustrating!!!

You were using upper case on your file names so it probably screwed things up when you upload it to the net because it’s case sensitive online.

Check your file names to see if they match the cases you used in the actionscripts.

No I have everything matched up…

But if the cases were different wouldn’t it not work in the preview either?! It works fine when I preview it in Flash, but online it has the same problem!!! :-\

Wow…:h: I’m so dang confused now…I know for a fact that I have everything matched up as Photos.swf…but I just changed it to photos.swf and changed to code for the movies…and It works…HoW!?@

When you’re testing it, the case doesn’t matter, but online it does matter.

hey electrongeek i have the same problem can you help me please?
