Hi, this is a post related to another thread (thanks btw for the suggestion about indian sybols)
I have a doubt about a logo I´m making…it is for a company located in my country, Costa Rica, that works making trips to India, teaching about their culture and teaching about how to make business in India.
I used in the logo the “[COLOR=“Blue”]Ashoka Chakra[/COLOR]”, which is the emblem in the indian flag, and some other elements for the whole logo. My client love it but now she has a doubt if it permitted to use patriotic symbols in logos, honestly, I dont know…
My point of view is that is not permitted if you modify the symbol, for example changing the original color or adding lines or stuff like that, but if you use it as it is in the original shape there should be no problems…
What do you think? Should we go on, or ask in the embassy…? (which I dont want to because the process is too slow)
