Logo Rough

I need some help with this logo. It needs to be fun and represent the Hispanic culture. Any suggestions?

BTW - the top is just the color palette I’m using.

For your entertainment while I think about this.

Maybe you should incorporate a hispanic blanket (forget what they’re called) patterns into the design.

I am not, what does it need to show a snail?

@w1sh - lmao, when i first opened the thread i thought yours was the logo to crit!

@Mr.Kikkoman - i like it. simple and fun. what are those colored rectangles above the logo? are those part of the logo, i don’t think they are necessary if they are.

the idea of an illustrated blanket is cool too.

Thanks for the comment

@w1sh
Best logo ever.

I actually don’t really mind what you have there, it’s simple and but still fun to look at.

I like it, it is very mexican, with out all the clashing colors and other horrible design trends that come with that culture.

haha! thanks.

I just tweaked it a bit. I made the a’s and o’s all different so it’s more unique and looks less like a font. I also extended the v so it reaches the same height as the ‘T’. I have a version with dots in the o’s too. I think it looks… [U]funner

I don’t like the dots in the O’s. So I would have to say the second one.

I liked the first one you posted the best. Not feeling the one with the dots, they just seem kind of stupid.

I think you need to drop the total width of the logo to be functional

what do you mean by drop the total width? are you referring to the letter-spacing/tracking?

As a total parent width, the whole logo is really wide.

Consider making the subtext sit below?

I don’t mind its width… I don’t think you could move around “To go” and pull off something like how the tail of A goes into the T… thats smooth.

^ HMMMMMM good point!

I guess it also reads better in the horizontal linear format.

You could try hooking the A down below?

Just need to watch for negative space!

I think you can play around with “to go” to make it look more fancy, you should also adjust the kerning on To Go, to bring it in tighter.

Also, see if putting “Go” underneath and to the right of “To” reads OK, this could reduce the overall width, but only if it reads ok, I think if you do this it could be too disjointed

i think the logo needs a glyph …
