So I built myself a pretty sweet machine. QX9650, 4gb RAM so far, NVidia 8800gt, yada, yada. Anyhow I have a huge black stainless steel Cooler Master box with about 8 case fans not to mention the heat sink and graphics card fan as well. Least to say it is loud. I tried different fans but it just continues to be loud unless I clean it out every other day which isn’t fun. Anywho, I am sort of broke right now but have been wanting to get a Liquid Coolant system for my machine at a reasonable price but not so cheap that I risk melting down my quad-core which cost me about a 1k by itself. Anyone have any suggestions? I am looking for something to cool the whole machine too, not just the CPU, so I can get rid of most if not all of my noisy fans.
