I did a search on the forum 'cause I have a problem with my preloader and found this thread. However, after reading it all, I’m sorry to say that I still do not get it.
So can somebody please try to help me out on this?
My movie has 3 frames in the main timeline. The first 2 contain the preloader taken from the tutorial by lostinbeta (http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx/percentagepreloader.htm).
In the third frame I have my content and I’m loading an external jpeg using loadMovie() into an mc.
When I test the movie using ‘Show Streaming’ the preloader pops up when the percentage is already 40%.
Who can help me fix this problem?
