Some of you guys in Europe may or may not be familiair with this festival. You may want to click here for the festival site (and don’t bother telling me how bad their site is, this isn’t a site check :P)
Anyway it looks like it’s going to be pretty special this year with the Texelse Boys Playground.
The Texelse Boys are a collective of media enthusiasts they have a special place at the festival called ‘The Texelse Boys Playground.’ If you like media, especially visual and music, then you should come and check it out while you’re there. There is going to be some good stuff going on there! Funkstorung will be there (MK12 did a video of theirs not long ago) with Pixelpasta as well as Eboman, MicroMusic (music made with games consoles ) and many others (click her[url=“http://www.texelseboys.nl/lowlands/programme”]e for the Playground Program)
There will be lots of opportunities to learn some new skills with a variety of Video, Music and Interactive workshops taking place during the day, after dark it’s party hardy though… :hugegrin:
As for me I get to stroll around the festival with a mic and a harddisk recorder collecting sounds which the fabulous boys from humanworkshop will be mixing live later that night.:party:
So if you plan on going, make sure you drop by, especially for the Humanworkshop live sets on Friday (after Mr. Manson) and on Saturday (after The Prodigy) Hope to see you there…
