Here’s my review of Madonna’s latest single American Life

  1. LYRICS: 5/10
    I was going to give it a 3/10, 'cause it’s real crap, but after 3min 10sec it finally gets a bit better.

  2. MUSIC: 4/10
    Good in the very beginning, good beat and nice Spanish accoustic guitar pieces. But that’s it. Nothing “wow”.

  3. CONCLUSION: 9/20
    Not mega-bad, but it’s still in the crap zone. For me. I just don’t get why every radio station likes it so much. The clip is a bit special, yes, but it has nothing to do with the music.

If you’re searching for an alternative “Bad world - I’m a victim” kind of song in the POP section, try Why You Wanna Trip On Me, by Michael Jackson. Good lyrics, super vocals and awesome beat.

I am still waiting to see the video - she pulled it before it went national yesterday. I wasnted to hear what all the hype was about.

I kind of like the song to be honest.
