k…here’s the situation, I’m strong with photoshop, just getting started with illustrator, and haven’t gotten into quark or indesign yet. anyway…I have this job/project to do for this client who has written a short book/mag to teach geometry to kids. it’s a simple book with probably 50-65% simple graphics and images, and the rest text. so, in other words, it’s not exactly your standard magazine w/ columns full of text, etc. etc.
my question is this…do you think I should or NEED to learn indesign or quark before I can take on this project, or should I just take care of it in illustrator and use a template of some sort? orrr…should I lay the whole thing out in photoshop since that’s my most comfortable domain? I mean I know I could make it look pretty good just using ps but I’m sure there are drawbacks that I’m not entirely aware of…probably w/ printers and what not.
anyway just looking for some experienced insight. thnx in advance.
