Bad times. He was a whacko the last few years, but still a legendary actor.
I was just telling my wife yesterday what I read about him. I read he was dirt poor and living on welfare, owed the IRS 20 million, hid his Oscars in fear of them being stolen and was about to do a movie that would help him get back on his feet a little.
That was 3 days before this happened. That is very weird.
I loved him as an actor - he was deffinatly one of the best I had ever seen. I would like to know the cause of death maybe they will tell us at a later time.
My vocal coach told me an interesting theory on rating the actors and singers, and in his opinion Brando is his early years is the only perfect 10 we’ve ever had.
Wow I didn’t hear this, a lot of famous people dying these days.
And where was Unflux on this one?
they say it happens in three’s (Reagan, Charles and now Brando)…hmmmm
It looks like there some scandal about his death. Apparently the rumour is he comitted suicide. They say the news was broke by the LAPD and not the hospital and that the police spent all day friday searching his house. Also the doctors eventually said his lungs failed and at the same time an old friend was saying it was liver cancer. This story might run for a while yet…
I know he was in a bad situation but I find it hard to believe he’d have committed suicide
Despite his last years, he will remain one of the most amazing actors of this century. He was just too darn good. And too darn beautiful as well  One of my favorite movies starring MB is Guys and Dolls, a musical, also starring Frank Sinatra: http://imdb.com/title/tt0048140/ You should really watch that.
