masking-outlining effect
Hi, im new at this forum and would like help on something. I am trying to make a mask where the letter is being outlined, kind of a cut out. Heres what i have but i cant get the mask right, please help. (btw i dont want the letter to be seen, just a line shaping into the letter…)
Tips: Have you converted the line into shape? I haven’t download your file, but this is my first guess.

Can you describe more what you want to do? What is the cut-out effect you are going for?
Here’s my example.
It’s not exactly what you where looking for but you can tweak it to your liking. 
the effect is similar to the leaf being outlined at http://www.canadianskydivecenter.com/ and http://www.laserlife.com.tw/ also
