I have heard that people use masking to make a cursive (signature) effect. I have searched for this but PLEASE, can someone attach a SWF that shows this effect. I really need to see the technique used.
i was wondering how to do the same thing. you can find one at www.seanjohn.com in the preloader and in the intro movie.
umm, what i do is:
draw some text, break it apart
make another layer
break out the brush
draw a little bit, F6
repeat
then after you have covered the whole text make it a mask
