Today is the day that the end of the (IMO) greatest movie trilogy ever created ends… I know alot of you are going to go see it. So what did you think?
just saw it today, and sen, that info you posted was really helpfull. thanks =)
i thought the action sequences in this one were a lot more better(and varied) than Reloaded. in reloaded, you have 3 or 4 hand-to-hand fights, while in revolutions you’ve got some gunplay, a battle(or war, even) with explosions and tons of great effects, and the the fight at the end had some nice effects, the flying around got a bit silly.
and (i think its been said before) the change of the oracle’s appearance wasn’t really explained, but i understood the story a lot more in this one. some parts could’ve gotten cut short and it wouldnt hurt the movie, like when _________ dies, and even though ________ has 3 metal rods stuck in _____, a conversation carries on for 10 or 15 minutes before _________ dies.
all in all, it was better than reloaded, maybe not as good as part 1, but different.
Keanu Reeves - I really don’t get it? He was perfect for the role in the first movie because Neo is somewhat confused at this point and Keanu has “confused” down pat. But after that it wasn’t working out too well, at least in my opinion, because you’d think Neo would wise up at some point and Keanu just looks… dumb.
As for revolutions, I didn’t think it sucked… nor did I think it was spectacular (enjoyment of the action and effects aside). I felt like a lot of the questions were just brushed under the carpet… as though the Wachowskis were thinking, “Let’s just wrap up this trilogy and go home already.”
So did anyone else notice that Lawrence Fishburne (who I find infinitely more attractive than Keanu) got a little pudgy since Reloaded?
